IIn every classroom, there are learners who perform exceptionally well and learners who require additional support. The former need more challenges, tasks, and a higher level of difficulty in order to make the most of their potential. The latter need more structure, guidance, and support to keep up. In addition, there is a large group of learners who fall “in between” and require a balanced combination of both approaches.

Learning paths are important for personalized education, allowing learners to progress at their own pace and according to their individual needs. This approach promotes their engagement, motivation, and success, especially for younger learners who oftentimes require more structure and guidance. It also emphasizes that learners aren’t all the same; everyone can have their own preferences, working pace, needs, and challenges.
